Well the boys got ready for school today. Both were excited to go and start a new adventure. Nicholas is now in the fourth grade. This means lots of extra activities since the elementary school goes from K-4. It's almost like being a senior in the elementary school. His teacher's introductory letter seems nice and I have hope that things will be a little smoother than last year.But today is even bigger for Ian. It's his First Day. Kindergarten is a new adventure for him and he's excited. He has the same time slot and teacher that Nicholas did for kindergarten. At least we know how this teacher does things and can be prepared. I was a little teary eyed this morning dropping him off at daycare. He never even noticed. He was too busy with his friends who will also be going to kindergarten.
I'm sure they both will have wonderful first days. I'm also sure I will have about a jillion papers to fill out. First day of school means homework for Mom. I wish they would let you fill them out online so you could cut and paste. :)
