Took a side trip from Las Vegas into Death Valley. Stopped by Rhyolite, a ghost town, and looked around for a few hours. Then on to Death Valley. I thought that it would be a trip of dried out landscape, but we all agreed that the scenary was beautiful. Stopped at the lowest point on the California highway system (and took photos!).
