Bill Kreuter Checks in

Lot's happening to our branch of the family.

Guess what I have another precious Grand Child - a girl this time - Born June 10th in Manassas, Val. Laural Finley Rogers. She is a real good baby. See pictures attached. GrandMaw has been up there since the birth and she says she is coming home Labor day with me after the infant Baptism. At least that is what Grandmaw is saying. When we only had one grandchild she would usually cry the first fifty miles when we left. No telling how many miles she will cry with two grandkids.. We will see. Angela and the kids are supposed to come Tennessee for three weeks in October. Older Brother Jacob is a blessing to us all. He will be 3 in September. Very smart for his age. Angela has to make a decision if she will continue working or take off to be a mother. Besides being a mother she is also very involved in the local church serving as an elder. Daddy Zack besides enjoying his family and Mother in Law's cooking is still enjoying his job. We will see if Hillary is elected if he still enjoys it as much.

GrandPap (Fred Kreuter - Newell) once told Me or Dan (Can't remember which) to be like Jesus and love them all. Dan has followed that advice but that may be coming to an end - Time will tell. He seems to be setting down to one significant other (She is a few years older but never been married, no kids and true to Dan's preference beautiful). She has meet all our family and Dan has flown to Atlanta and meet her parents. He was invited back, so I guess he pasted their test If it is meant to be it will be but until then time will tell. Football season has started and as usual he has season tickets to the Titan's and Volunteers and would not miss a game. What a life - he enjoys life to the fullest.

Marlene retired from teaching this past spring. Loving every minute of helping her daughter out during these busy times. We will see how she takes being separated from the grandkids when I bring her back to Tennessee until they come to Tennessee a month later.

I try to go to Memphis every two weeks to check on Dad (Your Uncle Bill). I went this past weekend. He says God added ten to twenty years between the time he went to sleep on his 63rd birthday and he woke up the next morning. His knees are giving him trouble and he usually uses a cane to help him walk.

Also saw Kathye this past weekend. She started back teaching this week - wishing she had enough years to retire.

I'm really enjoying Grandkids, work and golf. Weather here has been terrible. We had a late frost this spring which killed all the new spring growth. We really haven't had any measurable rain all summer and have had at or over 100 degrees for the last five days with the same forecasted for at least the next five days. It is miserable here.

She looks beautiful! Like any Kreuter girl does!

Flew through Memphis yesterday and thought of you!
